Mime Classics with Todd Farley

June 24, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 am

Master Mime Todd Farley

IN CELEBRATION OF THE 2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM!

Todd Farley is a Master Mime and Physical Theatre Specialist. He will showcase a mime’s more enduring charm of illusion and wonder. Children will be able to see the common illusions of the wall, walk, robot and other object manipulations seen in the context of classic children’s tales such as The Selfish Giant and The Giving Tree. This 45-minute program is suitable for ages 5 to 13. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i, Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, Meadow Gold Dairies, Hawaiian Electric Companies, HMS Host, Hansen Distribution Group, Roberts Hawaii, Mitsunaga & Associates, Aloha United Way, and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding and support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
