Hip Hop & Literacy with Mr. Kneel

Join us at the Kealakekua library for a free show in which “Mr. Kneel” (Neil McIntyre) shares his love for reading through beatbox and rhyme! Mr. Kneel is a professional speaker, Hip-Hop emcee, beatboxer, and goofball. He uses his talents as Mr. Kneel to encourage & uplift  children of all ages. Neil creates inspired original Hip-Hop music that assist educators & parents in promoting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. This program is suitable for ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by a parent or an adult caregiver.

Mr. Kneel’s CDs, posters, and stickers will be available for sale (cash & checks only, please). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Libraries, Kona.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or other special accommodations.
