Enjoy the movie classic My Fair Lady all over again, but with an added twist: an audience sing-along! Mics won’t be provided but you can sing as loud, as soft or not at all, from the comfort of your seat! How fun is that?
This Best Picture, a musical reworking of George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion,” is about a pompous, acid-tongued professor of linguistics (Best Actor Rex Harrison) who tries to refine an ill-mannered, uneducated guttersnipe (Audrey Hepburn) and pass her off as a princess in six months.
This movie is rated G (General Audiences) by the Motion Picture Association (MPA). Contains mild language, some adult themes, and depictions of alcohol consumption. Young children need to be accompanied by either a parent or legal guardian. Mahalo to the Friends of Kaimuki Public Library for sponsoring this event.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change. See a schedule of upcoming events on the HSPLS Events Calendar.
