Phytoplankton Populations from Satellite Data

As a NASA@My Library library, Thelma Parker will be hosting a virtual presentation event.  Learn how NASA is helping scientists uncover important information about the health of our oceans using satellites in space!  Bryce Penta, a microbiology doctoral student at Oregon State University, studies the microscopic plants of the ocean, phytoplankton, which form the base of the marine food web.
