Dr. Sun-Hui Hung will be playing and discussing the historical context of the erhu, a two-stringed bowed musical instrument, sometimes known in the Western world as the Chinese violin or Chinese two-stringed fiddle, and its role in Chinese classical music composition, poetry and philosophy.
