The UH Hawaiʻi Nutrition Center and SNAP-Ed will be presenting a hands-on interactive session on Nutrition Education. Activities will include:

• Make a Plate with MyPlate
• Guess the Sugar and Rethink Your Drink
• Check that Nutrition Facts Label!
• Wash It Well! (produce washing)
• Healthy Food Demo

This program is suitable for families with keiki age 5 and older. Registration is required. Please call the library at 808-259-2510 to reserve your spot. Participating households will receive a free Nutrition Education Reinforcement Item. Sponsored by the UH Hawaiʻi Nutrition Center and SNAP-Ed.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
