ʻOhana Yoga: Playful Plant Poses & Recycled Self Watering Planting Activity

Prepare seedlings for the last month of spring with a family-friendly yoga workshop exploring playful poses inspired by seeds, flowers, and tress using gentle movement. By channeling a limb of yoga called yamas we will explore how our actions shape what grows our lives.
After our yoga practice we will shift into an activity. You will be introduced to our Seed Library and make self-watering planters using recycled plastic water bottles.
Seeds, soil, and additional planting supplies will be provided thanks to the Waikīkī-Kapahulu Friends of the Library.
Space is limited. Registration is recommended. Register at the link below.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
