Experience the music and dance of Okinawa through demonstrations of kumi wudui (classical dance drama). Learn a few words in Uchinaguchi, discover the meaning behind the dances, and join in kachashi/atchame, the joyful free-form dance shared at celebrations. Led by acclaimed Okinawan dance instructor Cheryl Yoshie Nakasone, this engaging 45-minute program is suitable for all ages.
