The Origins of Earth’s Oceans and Life on Extrasolar Planets

Explore the origins of Earth’s oceans and life on extrasolar planets with Dr. Nader Haghighipour. He is an astronomer who specializes in binary star systems and teaches at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. This 45-minute program is suitable for ages 5+. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

This is a production of the University of Hawai‘i Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program. Additional funding and support is provided by the Tom F. Carpenter Memorial Fund, National Endowment for the Arts, Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the Friends of the Ka‘u Libraries.
