An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Monday, repeating until June 29, 2026

Aloha ʻĀina! All are invited to join the advanced Hawaiian Language class. Please note that this class is a continuation of the Hawaiian 102 with concentration of the development of language speaking, listening, comprehension, reading, writing and cultural understanding.
As this class is a more intermediate class, please note that prior Hawaiian Language experience is needed. Feel free to join us for our advanced Hawaiian Language class at the Kaimukī Public Library.
This class will be taught by Librarian Moki Renti Cruz who will incorporate Hawaiian songs as a tool to help build vocabulary and understand sentence structure. No prior music experience needed.
For those of you interested, this class will be held every Monday from 4:30-5:30pm, excluding holidays or specific dates when the Kumu is unable to make it to class.
This class is recommended for youth ages 13 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
