What’s Happening in Papahānaumokuākea? Movie Screening and Presentation

Andy Collins, the director of Mokupāpapa (The Discovery Center), will speak about Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument after a showing of the film: “Midway: Edge of Tomorrow.”
Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument is the second largest protected area on Earth and is in our own backyard! Fourteen hundred miles of healthy coral reefs, deep sea mysteries, and critical habitat for sea turtles, monk seals, and seabirds are protected within the Monument’s boundaries. Learn more about the Monument and why it is so important to protecting Hawaii’s natural resources.
