An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until April 18, 2025
Taught by Alan Akaka (Hawaiian Steel Guitarist, in charge of Hawaiian music school Ke Kula Mele), and working with Hawaiian Institute for Music Enrichment and Learning Experiences, (HIMELE) Daniel Tremblay travels the islands sharing the music and history of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar. Occasionally teaching classes, as well as refurbishing instruments, Daniel’s dedication to the instrument is something he wishes to inspire in others.
Join us every Wednesday, 2:30 -3:30 p.m.! Daniel will be demonstrating the Hawaiian lap steel guitar, as well as answering any questions regarding the history of the instrument. All ages welcome!
