Creative Crafting with Evelyn: Pochibukuro

October 11, 2018 @ 4:30 am - 5:30 am

Our favorite eco-crafter Evelyn Nakamura is back with a new craft-pochibukuro or “little bags”

Japanese children frequently receive monetary gifts in little envelopes called “pochibukuro.” Learn to make 3 simple pochibukuro from found materials, then size them up for other purposes. Examples of varied uses for these envelopes and other ways of creating them will be shared. All supplies will be provided, please bring a pair of small sharp pointed scissors for the craft.

This program is suitable for ages 10 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. Registration is required. Limited to 15 participants. Sign up at the circulation desk or call 259-2610. This program is sponsored by the Friends of Waimanalo Library.

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
