Peace of Mind: Caregiving and End-of-Life Decisions
You have firm ideas about what kind of funeral you’d like, but does your family know about them? Are some of your relatives starting to need more assistance? Do your loved ones know what kind of end-of-life care you want?
Talking about death, caregiving, and end-of-life decisions is not easy. Many of us don’t know where to start or are afraid of raising the subject with loved ones.
Whether a parent is starting to need just a bit more help or living arrangements are about to change, it helps to prepare. An AARP volunteer speaker will help you learn a framework for starting the conversation and discuss building a care team, understanding resources, and making a plan.
All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
