With elections coming up in November, it’s important to know how to contact your legislators and tell them your views.  Virginia Beck from the nonpartisan Public Access Room will be giving a two part presentation on Tuesday, October 16, from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. about contacting your lawmakers and getting them to work for you.  The first part of the evening is an introduction to the legislative process; the second part will be the brass tacks of advocating at the Capitol.  Helpful guides and resources will be provided.
