Join us for a hands-on workshop for families with children in grades K–2. Discover how joyful reading can help your child fall in love with books. Explore high-interest titles together, take home books for summer, and learn simple, research-based strategies to support reading and connection.

Facilitated by Kiana, Family Hui’s Early Learning Lead and former first grade teacher with over 10 years of experience. She holds master’s degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and is passionate about nurturing a love of reading in families.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
