Read to a therapy dog!  All dogs participating in this program are specially trained and can help patrons practice reading aloud without judgment. The minutes spent reading to a dog applies toward your Summer Reading Challenge goal!

All Ages Welcome! If you want a comfortable setting to practice your reading fluency or reduce stress, this is the event for you. Bring your favorite book or choose from the many available titles on hand.

A sign up sheet will be available at the Info Desk on the day of the program. Registrations can be made on June 9 by phone 831-6831 or in person. Sessions with a therapy dog are 10 minutes long. Walk-ins welcome as space permits.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
