Feeling nervous about reading aloud? Practice your reading skills by reading to a therapy dog from Pet Partners, a national organization that has helped to evaluate and support therapy animal teams since 1977. This program is open to children of all ages; children under 5 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

A sign-up sheet for 5-10 minute sessions with our special guest, Nugget, will be available at the Edna Allyn Children’s Desk on the morning of the program. Nugget loves making new friends and can’t wait to meet and read with you!

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
