Read to Theo, a Therapy Dog with Assistance Dogs of Hawaii on the 3rd Tuesday of the month! Kids can practice reading aloud without judgment. If you want a comfortable setting to practice your reading fluency, reading comprehension, or comfort with canines in general, this is the event for you. This free program is suitable for elementary-aged and above. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
A sign-up sheet for 15 minute sessions with Theo will be available. Reservations can be made by phone by calling the Lahaina Library at 808-662-3950 or in person during hours of operation. Walk-ins welcome as space permits.
