Join the Hawaiian Humane Society for a fun and interactive presentation to learn what it really means to be a responsible pet owner. Together, we’ll explore the Five Freedoms for Animals—the building blocks of kindness, care, and respect that every pet needs to live a happy, healthy life. This program is designed for youth ages 8–13 and their families. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
Plus, meet two Joy Ambassador teams (well-behaved pets and their humans)!
In the month of October, Mililani Public Library is celebrating Pet Month with events highlighting animal friends! Check out more events at Mililani Public Library on the HSPLS Events Calendar.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
