Summer Reading Program Kick-Off event.  Come join Maui Preparatory Academy and Lokelani Intermediate School’s robotics teams to see an amazing robotics demonstration! Axles, motors, gears, chassis… see how they work together to make a movable robot. Maybe even try your hand at “test driving” a robot!   As an added bonus, Summer Reading Program sponsors will have some goodies for kids: Hawaii State Federal Credit Union will bring a simple craft and McDonald’s will provide cookies.  Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
