Important Alert #2: The Kaneohe Public Library will be closed for approximately one month, starting January 2, 2019 for a parking lot improvement project. The book drop will be closed from 10 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 and remain closed until the library reopens. During the closure, borrowed items may be returned to any public library. Make some art using chalk foam paint. Children will follow a simple recipe from the book Chalk on the Wild Side to make the paint and then create a painting. This program incorporates science with art, making it both a fun and educational activity. S.T.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Engineering. Art, and Math. This program is recommend for children ages 6 and up. This program is free and all supplies will be provided. All programs are subject to change.
