Safe Falling for Seniors with Kupuna Aikido

Kupuna Aikido will demonstrate how to reduce your risk of falling and techniques that can reduce serious injury from falls.  Learn how to fall to help protect your head from injury, prevent or reduce significant injury such as broken hips, pelvis, arms, or shoulders. Please note that this is not a martial arts class.  This is a demonstration that will not involve physical audience participation.

Kupuna Aikido is a 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteer senior Aikido instructors whose mission is “To empower Hawaii’s kupuna with Aikido-based philosophies to preserve and protect their mobile independence.”
