Everyone in the community is invited to Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library’s 30th Anniversary! The library opened on August 29, 1992, to serve the communities of Salt Lake, Moanalua, Aliamanu, Foster Village, and surrounding military housing areas. The library originally opened in 1984 as a small storefront location in the Salt Lake Shopping Center.
10:00 a.m. – Gee Yung International Martial Arts Dragon & Lion Dance Association – This will be a short kung fu demonstration followed by a Lion Dance, clearing the way for the next successful 30 years.
11:30 a.m. – Magician James Lee
12:15 p.m. – Remarks by library administrative staff and legislators
12:30 p.m. – Refreshments (cookies and ice cream) will be served in the Magazine Room
