The Hawaii State Library kicks off 2019’s Saturday Afternoon at the Movies series with the film Skyscraper.  Former FBI Hostage Rescue Team Leader and U.S. War Veteran Will Sawyer, who now assesses security for skyscrapers, is on assignment in Hong Kong where he is working at the Pearl, the tallest, safest building in the world. However, the building is suddenly on fire and he has been framed for it. Now a wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family, who are trapped in the building, above the fire line.

The movie will be shown in the library’s First Floor Reading Room.
