Know Your Legal Rights: Senior Legal Issues / Guide to Public Benefits

Scales of Justice

The Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i will provide legal information on issues affecting our seniors, with a focus on public benefits. Connie Liu, Managing Attorney of Community Engagement, and Emily Rivera, AmeriCorps Advocate,will offer a brief overview on public benefits, which includes general, medical, SNAP, General Assistance, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. They will share legal information and resources for this presentation. This 60-minute program is suitable for ages 18 and older.
