Make your own slime and participate in a free SHELLS+ Bookmaking Workshop with your young one. This program is for children four-years-old and up and their caregiver. Learn the process of making slime and then document the steps with an instant camera to create a book on your slime making experience. This program sparks positive engagement with your keiki while encouraging you to talk story and co-create a book. Make memories together and spark a love of literacy.
This program is sponsored by the Hawaii Positive Engagement Project (HPEP@hawaii.edu). Arrive on time to register your family for this program.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
