Social Security 101

Social security benefits

This free one-hour presentation will provide information about what Social Security is, eligibility for benefits, retirement status (early, full, and delayed), disadvantages of claiming benefits early, and boosting benefits by delaying retirement until reaching full retirement age.

Also, learn how to use my Social Security online account & other online services. Visit website ssa.gov/myaccount to create a my Social Security account and print out your Social Security Statement before attending this workshop.
