Stories from Asia!

April 24, 2018 @ 2:30 am - 3:30 pm

Anamika telling a story to a group of children.

Join us for a special storytime with Anamika, a guest storyteller all the way from Singapore!  This storytelling will feature one story from China, one from India and one from Singapore.  Make a craft to take home after the stories!

Anamika grew up in Kenya, and has been fascinated by stories for as long as she can remember.  Marriage took her to India, and then to Singapore.  After working closely with children in a school environment for nine years, she has now become a full-time speech and drama teacher and an international Storyteller.  She is a member of Storytelling Association Singapore and Asian Storytelling Network.  She holds a distinction in Speech and Drama from Trinity Guildhall, London.  Anamika has worked with children in India, Africa, Singapore and at various festivals and events.

Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.  If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
