Spilled Coffee Art

May 16, 2019 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

watercolor of 5 giraffes

Spilled coffee art all started when people noticed the patterns in the spilled coffee on their counter tops, and began to doodle in the spills. I can show you how to have fun with only coffee, paper and a paintbrush. Some of the advantages of coffee art: It’s cheap to produce, so there is less pressure to create a masterpiece.  The color choice is limited to coffee, so less decision making is required. It produces a wonderful warm sepia image. Best of all… it is therapeutic to the soul. We are all learning, so don’t be shy, come over to the library and learn something new. No skill level or previous experience is required!

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
