Come join the Kahuku Public and School Library as we jam to the danceable sounds of the BYUH Street Band. Known for their New Orleans to Salsa to Jazz tunes, this band will surely get the audience moving to the beat. This kick-off event is suitable for all ages and will celebrate the gift of music.

Dr. Daniel Henderson teaches Jazz Improvisation, Songwriting, Music Theory, World Music, and directs World Jazz Orchestra and the Street Band at BYU-Hawaii. Before moving to Hawaii in 2016, he taught at Harvard University, was a trumpeter and vocalist with the New Hot 5, and starred in the viral video “Jazz for Cows” which was featured on Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Good Morning America.
