Star Wars Breakout Challenge for Teens in Grades 6-8

January 13, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

bb-8 floating in space

The Resistance needs your help. While on a secret mission, BB-8 was captured by the First Order. Fortunately, he was able to send a distress signal just a moment before he was taken away to a remote Coruscant junkyard. Can you break the sinister First Order codes that keep BB-8 locked up? Resistance prizes given to all who break out! Participation is limited to the first 12 teens who call or visit the library to sign up. There will be 3 groups of 4 teens. Resistance groups can start the challenge at 10am, 11am or 1pm. Sign up as a group of friends, family members, or classmates. Breakout sessions will be held in a closed, unlocked room (with the Young Adult Librarian) for team collaboration without disturbances to the Force.

Calm you will remain, and rescue BB-8 you must!

This program is supported by the Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.) Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
