Stories We Carry – with Olga Miller

April 14, 2026 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

two heads talking

Join us for a monthly communty storytelling series where true, personal stories come alive through local voices. Stories We Carry is a  gathering space desiged for deep listening, authentic conversation, and quiet reflection.

Our next monthly theme wil be about something that seemed like a good idea at the time.

The Joke’s On Us

Did something ever go completely wrong… and somehow become the story you tell at every dinner party?

A joke that landed on the floor. A moment that made you want to evaporate. A misunderstanding that spiraled just far enough. A trick, a twist, a situation you didn’t see coming — until it was already happening to you.

April has a way of inviting the unexpected. With April Fools just behind us and spring doing its thing, our next Stories We Carry leans into humor — the kind that lives in awkward pauses, catches you completely off guard, and only makes sense in hindsight.

These are the stories we cringe at first. Then we laugh. Then we tell them again.

We’re looking for 7 storytellers to share their 7-minute true stories on stage.

Submit yours — and whether you’re selected or not, come spend an evening in the company of laughter, recognition, and the beautifully human moments that remind us we’re all a little ridiculous.

Because the stories that make us laugh the hardest are usually the ones we never saw coming.

Which one is yours?
