Just us for a monthly community storytelling series at ‘Aina Haina Public Library, where true, personal stories come alive through local voices, fostering deep listening and authentic connection.
Our inaugural gathering invites stories about beginnings, turning points, and moments of choosing again. We’re looking for narratives of transformation – when you decided to start over, reclaim something lost, or step into a new chapter with intention and hope.
RSVPs are optional but helpful for planning purposes. If you wish to share your story, please submit it through the form. Stories should be true, personal narratives, and 5-7 minutes in length. Up to 9 stories will be selected.
Whether you’re a seasoned storyteller or new to sharing, your story matters. Come as you are, bring your curiosity, your presence, and perhaps a story that’s been waiting to be told.
To RSVP or get a story submittal form, please email beth.yos@librarieshawaii.org.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged but not required. The program schedule is subject to change.
