Are you between the ages of 11-16 and want a Pen Pal in another state? Waipahu Public Library is partnering with Pierce County Library system in a Summer Pen Pal exchange.
Pre-registration starts  from May 2025.  Sign up at Waipahu Library reference desk to receive a letter writing welcome kit. Participants will exchange at least two letters with other Tweens/Teens in Pierce County Library system. At at the end of the Summer we will do a snack exchange and have a virtual party.  If you have any questions please call the library at 808-675-0358 and ask for Children’s Librarian.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
