We’ll celebrate all the readers who completed this year’s Summer Reading Challenge by reading and logging 8 books or 800 minutes this summer! Everyone is invited to share a “lightning” 30-60 second book talk for your favorite read of the summer (what it’s about, what you enjoyed about it, who else would like it).

The Friends of Waimea Public Library will sponsor a Build Your Own Sundae bar for all the finishers. Please RSVP with library staff by July 27, 2026.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
