Hāmākua Homestead Series: Edible Landscaping 101

Join the Join the Laupāhoehoe P&S Library, the Honeybee Education Program, and the Laupāhoehoe Train Museum for a talk story and a slide presentation to learn about edible landscaping, the practice of growing food, flowers, and native plants together in a home landscape setting, to beat the weeds naturally, increase production, and reduce labor and inputs while revitalizing the soil.

About the instructor
David Sansone is the owner of Hawaii Edible Landscaping, LLC, and has developed drought-resilient edible landscapes, ecological farms, and food forests for over 20 years.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
