Welcome to teen book club! We meet once a month to discuss books chosen by our members (you!)
This month, we’re discussing Radium Girls by Kate H. Moore, a true story about the hardships faced by women who worked in factories with radium, an element whose dangers were not initially understood.
We’ll also distribute March’s book, and choose April’s book. New participants are welcome, and encouraged to bring suggestions!
Snacks are generously provided by Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.). This program is suitable for teens. All programs subject to change.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
