Welcome to Teen Book Club, where we meet once a month to discuss books chosen by our members. New participants are welcome and encouraged to bring suggestions!
This month, we will finish reading and discussing Radium Girls by Kate H. Moore, a true story about the hardships faced by women who worked in factories with radium, an element whose dangers were not initially understood.
Our upcoming read for April, They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, will also be distributed at this event.
Snacks are generously provided by Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.). This program is suitable for teens. All programs subject to change.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
