Teen Craft: Beginner’s Sewing Workshop

Ever wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine? Come check out our beginner’s sewing workshop! We’ll teach you how to work your machine, thread your bobbins, start your stitches, and make a small bag! Please bring your sewing machine, thread and the manual to the program.

RSVP REQUIRED, 5 slots are available. Program is for teens from 11 years old to 18 years old. We have a few sewing machines that can be used during the program, if you do not have one, please call to reserve. Fabric and other sewing supplies will be provided for usage during the event.

Supplies purchased thanks to the Friends of the Library of Hawai’i and the Friends of the Mānoa Library.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
