This Summer Reading Challenge, teach yourself a new skill! Whether it is crocheting, working with fabric and felt, basic sewing, or DIY- come learn how to create DIY felt crafts at the library, continuing with learning how to put all our skills we learned this summer together and create a Spam Musubi, kawaii style. This super-cute musubi will put your felt-rolling, plushie-stuffing, sew-tastic skills together to create a fun musubi. Then, get ready to put all your crafts together in a crocheted ‘umeke/bowl to take home and display your crafts in!
Learn techniques for working with craft materials such as yarn, felt, ribbon, fabric, hot glue, sewing kits, and more with our crafty library staff!
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
