To celebrate the publication of his sixth volume of poetry, author Eric Paul Shaffer will read poems from A Million-Dollar Bill. The poems celebrate thunderstorms on O’ahu, sunrises on Haleakala, and childhood wisdom and foolishness, while describing the perils of eating watermelon seeds, the delights of spilling coffee, and how the author lost his library card.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library (10 days for Oahu; 15 days for neighbor islands) in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
