M.J. Harden passed away last September 2024 leaving behind an archival portfolio of her writings, both articles and magazines that she started on Maui. She was the author of the book “Voices of Wisdom – Hawaiian Elders Speak” and she and her husband started the cultural hiking company “Hike Maui”. M.J. was very instrumental in helping start the MACC, wrote and started several magazines and countless articles of Maui and its history.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.
