Join us for a writing workshop on the art of the journal! Cora Currier, a longtime writer, reporter, and editor, will provide prompts and inspiration to get you started (or keep you going!) keeping a journal or diary. A regular practice of writing for ourselves can do so many things: help us to understand our emotions and stay present amid daily distractions, be an important record of a place or time, or a scratchpad for other projects. A blank page in a notebook can be intimidating, but this workshop will help you get past it and get in a writing rhythm. No experience is necessary, and all ages high school and up are welcome. Pens and notebooks will be provided.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
