In this Wellness Workshop participants will learn eating principles to care for the health of themselves and their family, all while celebrating their cultural food traditions.
Tips for shopping, preparing and eating foods for a healthy approach to weight and chronic disease such as heart disease and diabetes are highlighted.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
