Join us in the lobby for the inaugural performance of The Queen’s Singers who will present songs celebrating our chirpy, feathery, winged friends. Selections will include mele by Queen Liliʻuokalani and her siblings (together known as Nā Lani ʻEhā), madrigals by composers of Europe from earlier centuries, and newer works by living composers.

The Queen’s Singers are a five-member vocal ensemble founded in honor of Queen Liliʻuokalani and her musical legacy. Through their creative storytelling and high-level music making, the Singers hope to affect and inspire audiences from Hawaiʻi and around the world.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
