An up close and personal overview about stewardship and cataloguing of the sometimes-feared tiger sharks in Big Island waters by the man who regularly swims with them, marine biologist and shark researcher Charles Fasano. Fasano currently heads the Kuleana Project for the Shark Research Institute, looking at sharks from a classical Hawaiian cultural and historic perspective. This program is limited to 20 attendees; advance online registration for reserved seating is required. The registration system will go live on Tuesday, May 24 and is scheduled to close Monday, June 6, or when all reservations are filled. This program is open to all ages.
