Come in to make a single ti-leaf lei with librarian Ku‘ulei. Plant materials were gathered from the library’s ‘āina (land). Small leaves and flowers may also be on hand to add into the lei, but this will not be a maile-lei style. Sign-up is highly recommended either at the library or via phone call. Walk-ins are allowed on program day for open spots, but there is no wait list. This program is for those in Grades 5 and up, including adults. The participant limit is 10.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
