July 11, 2025 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Celebrate National Watercolor Month with our first Laupāhoehoe Tiny Art Show on Friday beginning at 12:30 pm. “Java Jive” featuring Jerry & Rose will be performing swing music beginning at 1 pm as part of our Aloha Friday mele series.

All canvases must be received by July 9th to be part of the show. If you’d like to participate ask your library staff for a kit while supplies last.

Our summer theme is E Heluhelu Kākou: Mele, and Hawaii’s public libraries will be celebrating the power of storytelling through music, chants, and poetry.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
