True Tales of Supernatural Hawai’i

June 4, 2024 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Storyteller Jeff Gere

Celebrate the 2024 Summer Reading Challenge!

Join storyteller Jeff Gere for some true supernatural spooky tales from all over Hawai‘i. This 45-minute program is not suitable for young children & it is not for many older children & not for some adults either. These tales deal with possession, ghosts, stones with mana (spiritual power), encounters with Pele….come, but not alone.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawaiʻi and the 2024 Summer Reading sponsors.  This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Mānoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawai‘i.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
